HIFU & RF Microneedling
Give skin back its snap with the Focus Dual!
What is the Focus Dual?
The Focus Dual offers a unique combination of the latest clinically proven technologies for face and body treatments. Radio frequency microneedling and High Intensity Focused Ultrasound come together to give maximum results to sculpt, tighten and tone the skin on the face, neck and body.

These gold standard technologies can lift and define the jawline, shrink pores, reduce eye bags, lift and tone the eye area, smooth fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth, and improve the appearance of surgical scars, acne scarring and stretch marks. Deeper HIFU treatments can also destroy fat cells, tighten a double chin, the abdomen, back, underarms, thighs, hips, buttocks and arms.

With these gold standard technologies we can treat the skin at EVERY layer to lift, firm, and tighten.
With the Focus Dual we can treat:
• Ageing skin (wrinkles and fine lines, including smoker lines and pigmentation)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What Is Radio Frequency (RF) Microneedling?
Radio frequency microneedling can help to improve a variety of different skin concerns such as pigmentation, tone, texture, acne scars, skin laxity, stretchmarks, open pores and wrinkles. RF microneedling helps to improve the overall appearance and rejuvenation of skin, through the delivery of micro fine needles and heat to the deeper layers of skin, causing the collagen structures within these layers to tighten by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
What makes the Focus Dual Radio Frequency Microneedling unique?
Unlike other devices the Focus Dual uses super fine ‘micro’ needles for safe, precise, and more comfortable treatments. With Focus Dual we can treat ALL skin types through the ability to adjust not only needle depth but also the power of radio frequency energy delivered in your treatment. This technology enables us to deliver effective treatments suitable to your different skin concerns, for all skin types.
What is High Intensity Focussed Ultrasound (HIFU)?
Deep in the skin is the SMAS layer, this is the layer a surgeon will physically lift in a facelift, being so deep it’s difficult to target with non-surgical treatments - until now! The Focus Dual HIFU face lift creates deep focus points in the SMAS layer through heat zones. These heat zones kickstart the production of collagen and elastin, natural proteins needed for youthful looking skin.

You will see that results continue to improve up to 12 weeks post treatment and can expect real changes that lift, firm and tighten jawlines, sculpt cheekbones, reduce under eye bags and lift brow areas. All in all, there is nothing better to give your skin back it’s SNAP! than treating the skin from the inside out. The Focus Dual is the ideal treatment if you are looking to target multiple concerns with virtually no downtime. The Focus Dual HIFU treatment should be used to complement a healthy lifestyle.
What makes the Focus Dual HIFU unique?
Safety Assist Transducers (SATs), unique to the Focus Dual, emit high intensity ultrasound waves in a unique pattern that allows for safer and more comfortable treatments for ALL skin types.

What happens during a Focus Dual treatment?
• Prior to treatment you will be invited in for a consultation, to discuss the areas you would like to treat, and the reasons for doing so. During this time, we will explain the treatment/treatment plan in detail ensuring you fully understand the procedure.
• During the treatment a handpiece is placed on the skin in the target area directly on the skin. If you select to undergo HIFU treatment, the area will be marked in order to define the areas for treatment.
• During the procedure carefully selected skin products are used to maximise the results of the treatment.
• Celluma LED is also used to stimulate the skin at a cellular level to enhance results.
• After care products are also given and explained at the end of your treatment.
• Full results can be seen 12 weeks after the final treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Treatments are carried out every 3-6 weeks, usually between 1-3 HIFU treatments and 3-6 RF Microneedling treatments are recommended for best results. A course of 3 RF Microneedling treatments is recommended for skin rejuvenation, whereas for surgical scars, stretchmarks and acne scarring, or deep lines and wrinkles, a course of 6 treatments may be recommended.
Combination treatment programmes are recommended for ultimate results.
When will I see results?
Following HIFU treatments results can be seen immediately but will continue to improve as new collagen is stimulated. Best results are noticed three-months after your final treatment.
With RF Microneedling treatments improvements can be seen from 2-3 weeks from the first treatment, but as the natural results get better over time, you will see the best results again from around three-months after the final treatment, ensuring a natural and gradual result.
Is there any downtime?
HIFU is a powerful yet non-invasive treatment and does not injure the skin, it has been described as the ‘lunchtime face lift’ because aside from some slight redness, there is virtually no downtime. A small number of patients experience mild and temporary swelling, tingling and tenderness.
RF Microneedling uses radio frequency and ultra-fine needles to stimulate the body’s natural wound healing process, resulting in stimulation of collagen, fibrinogen and elastin. The downtime is usually less than standard microneedling, although there maybe some redness and mild tenderness for 24-48 hours after the procedure.
